I’ve been neglecting the Skylapser site for far too long. It is time for a fresh start. Since my last post in 2015, I have moved to the desert near Taos, New Mexico USA. I am fortunate enough to have moved to a remote location with world-class night skies, and I am in the process of setting up a proper observatory.

I am going to pivot Skylapser from being a product blog, to more of a personal blog featuring my time-lapses and astrophotography.

The above fireball image was capture on my DIY all-sky camera on the early morning of January 31, 2019. I will follow up with an article about the camera soon. I have also added a section called Skylapses with an archive of time-lapses captured with the all-sky camera. Enjoy! and let me know what you think.
